| If you opt to build this circuit, check it with load resistors before powering anything you actually care about. Even the best technicians make mistakes. The +5 Volt supply should be checked with a 1 ohm load resistor, and should not drop more then a few hundeed millivolts. The 12 Volt supply should be tested with a 10 Ohm load resistor and should not drop more then a few hundred millivolts. There should not be more than a hunderd millivolts of ripple on either supply under a load. |
